For more than 50 years, Kyle and Bob Remiger have wandered the Wheeler Peak and Columbine-Hondo wilderness above Taos. In these true stories, Kyle takes you up the trail with her: through first snow and wildflower meadows, past frozen waterfalls, up to the ridgelines. Her poems turn to the beauty and the spiritual pull of these wild places. The photographs, most taken where the stories happen, let you see it for yourself.

Who Love These Mountains is a coffee table book in the truest sense: 8½ × 11 inches, printed by Friesens in Canada on high-quality semi-gloss paper with state-of-the-art photo printing. When we published it, no print-on-demand company could match that paper or photo quality, so we didn’t settle. It’s a book to leave out on the table, pick up on a winter evening, and wander through page by page.
