A gaggle of geese  Gather to preen, stretch and feed  Flashing white bottoms

Standing together  Best friends support each other  Solid as a rock

Flower skeletons  Red succulents and dried grass  Fall tundra stillness

When sunflowers fade  Chamisa and asters peak  Aspens soon follow

Seaweed swirled palette  Flowing patterns of the tides   Rearranged daily

Fiery sunset lakeHides beetle devastationMasked in loveliness
